1. Introduction
Welcome to Vorala, a parental control application designed to empower parents in managing their child’s digital activities responsibly. Vorala consists of two versions: the Parent version and the Child version. By using Vorala, you agree to the following terms of usage. Please read them carefully. These terms govern your access to and use of the app, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through Vorala. Parents are responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws in their country or region.
2. Key Features
Vorala offers the following functionalities:
- Real-time location tracking of the child’s device.
- Monitoring notifications and YouTube activity.
- Defining and blocking unsafe or prohibited words on the child’s keyboard.
- Tracking app and game usage time, with options for individual or group scheduling and setting maximum usage limits.

- Setting daily routines that can limit access to specific apps during routine times.

These features are provided to assist parents in promoting safe digital habits. Vorala does not collect or transmit call history, messages, or contact information, and does not require or request permissions for such data.
3. Data Privacy and Security
- All information collected from the child’s device is securely transmitted via HTTPS and temporarily stored on Vorala servers. Once parents retrieve the data, it is immediately deleted from our servers.
- Data is encoded and decoded using the PIN set by the parents.
- Vorala does not share any data with third parties or display advertisements to parents or children.
- Data collected from the child’s device is exclusively accessible to the parent.
- Vorala complies with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and COPPA, and implements measures to ensure data minimization, integrity, and confidentiality.
4. Usage Guidelines
- The Child version of Vorala is specifically designed for children under the legal age, as defined by each country’s laws. However, if a child is above the legal age and consents to the app being installed on their device, usage is permitted.
- Parents must not use Vorala for children above the legal age without their explicit consent. Any misuse, such as hiding the app from the child or altering its status using unauthorized methods, violates our terms and will result in account suspension and termination of data transmission from the child’s version.
- Parents must obtain verifiable parental consent where required by law (e.g., for children under 13 in the US under COPPA) and ensure the app is used transparently.
- Vorala must not be used for any illegal purpose, including unauthorized surveillance or violation of privacy rights.
5. Responsibilities
- Parents are solely responsible for ensuring that they use the app ethically and in compliance with applicable laws.
- Vorala is not liable for any misuse of the app by parents.
- Parents must inform children about the app’s presence and features, and use it in a manner that respects the child’s privacy and well-being.
6. Notifications and Permissions
- The Child version is visible to the child, and all actions, such as live audio monitoring, are transparently communicated through notifications.
- Parents are required to ensure that their child is aware of the app’s presence and features.
- All required device permissions are explained during setup, and Vorala only requests permissions necessary for its features.
7. Termination of Services
- Parents can terminate the usage of the Child version by entering their defined PIN to remove or update the app.
- Failure to comply with these terms may result in account suspension or permanent termination of services.
- Upon termination, all data is deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.
8. Legal Compliance
- Vorala complies with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
- Parents must use Vorala in accordance with the legal and ethical standards of their jurisdiction.
- In the event of a legal request, Vorala may disclose data as required by law, but only after verifying the request's validity.
9. Changes to Terms
Vorala reserves the right to update these terms of usage at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated to users through the Parent version of the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
